DA is an odd place....sometimes I wonder how all the great amazing artist are over looked and all the secular, boring, "popular" ones are just gods on here...

thanks a lot. i'm glad you agree. i'm the same way with dA.. sometimes i really love it, especially when i find good photography (which is often), but other times i'm thoroughly disgusted at the level of writing some people seem to actually LIKE. of course, the people who DO get featured are people who have some type of connection to an authority figure here, so they just get more and more popular and people like me just sit here.
